Building a wind turbine is a easy way to create free electricity. Depending on your location in the wind you may find you had an abundant source of free energy. Just remember size does matter and so don't expect to power you house with a two foot wind turbine but you can use it to keep a battery charged. Or maybe use this project to power a light or two around the house. Sometimes going green can mean taking small steps at a time to achieve a larger goal.
